Greeting to all of you, I'm Karlee, a girl born in the USA. I enjoy anime and manga but lately am starting to get more into comics. Currently I am in college working towards and Associates in Arts and one in Business. Lately I am leaning towards graphic design but we'll see what I do in the future.
Mind you, I am very analytical, blunt, yet ironically sensitive. A straightforward kind of person that doesn't like sugar coating things. Yet sometimes, certain things can get me so emotional. I want to blame that on being female, but seeing as many of the male race seems to be more childish. Yeah, no longer do I blame to the feminine side of things. So you could see me reading a book making faces and getting so in tune with the characters that I start acting like them. Freaky right? Not really if you know anything about Sagittarius females. Especially us artists! XD
I own some pets and do love animals. I had a dog of mixed breed that well honestly is a wuss. But sadly he passed away May 7th, 2013. I miss him so much since he was my little brother. So a bit depressed lately. Two cats currently, one it pretty old and may not be with us for long. Then two quite annoying bird, I love them like brothers but they tend to squawk when I need to concentrate. I have pictures up in my gallery if you want to see them.
As you can see art as well as photography (usually of nature or animals) are great passions of mine. Though I have many more such as music, my favorite band is Flyleaf (though the original singer has stepped down). Also I have been all over Australia, and enjoy many others cultures.
On a day to day basis you can usually find me on DArt. Otherwise I am drawing, going to school, or other daily needs. I live off of Ramen usually. We artist tend to starve for our work. Though if I have a sweet tooth kick, I like to grab some Pocky, orange sherbert, or dark chocolate with blackberries. But every day I am in front of the computer, checking on my groups. Making sure everything is going well while I try not to drown in school work. But at the end of the day, or well when ever I get to bed, is usually where my mind drifts. Being so imaginative its like a TV implanted itself into my brain. So dreams are something I inspire to bring to life though my art.
Pairings I like
Fave music genres: Rock, Punk, Dance, J-Pop, J-Rock, Classical

I'll just attend casting calls tomorrow as well....which means I really should be asleep but I'm wide awake.
Midnight screamI was about to fall asleep when faint distant screaming tore through the night.SnaiLords
Saturday, 3:45 AM, not sure if people are drunk and messing around.
I listened on. Sounded like a couple arguing. The girl was screaming, whining and sobbing, or so I thought. Hard to hear from the windows.
Is she being attacked, getting raped or just arguing with a boyfriend.
Shiet, what do you do in situations like that. I peered out my window hoping to catch a glimpse of something that would catapult a reaction.
But it went silence.
What should I do? Should I call the cops still?
No, wait. Faint screaming resumes. Couple arguing? Rape? Which one is it?
I picked up my phone about to dial 911 when police siren went off. Blue lights flashing through the shadows of the trees.
Oh fu. Someone called the cops. It's serious. The blue lights came close to my neighborhood.
Yes, right here. Come this way. I thought. But his car slowed down then sped off the street.
No. Dammit. This is wha
Mark Making Using TwigsArtists ToolsRhynWilliams
When creating traditional art, it is often beneficial for artists to explore as many tools as possible to figure out what Works best for each person, often different methods wields interesting marks that an average brush or pen does not achieve unless it is forced..
When using tools that you are not used to, you become slightly vulnerable, you tread on new grounds that you have not yet experienced (unless you have used this method already).
When you use materials that you cannot fully control, you produce works that are uneven and it forces you to make marks that you previously wouldn't have done, leading to some unpredictable pieces of art... the longer the tool the more unpredictable the work.
In this demo I have used a few shrubs bound together using string and a twig, by using ink as a medium I can show you what kind of marks you can achieve
By using this method you can then fill in all the details with whatever you like, similar to wha

I wish to collect points to possibly do events among other things. If you are one of the generous ones to donate me I thank you greatly. I give Llamas to all those who are generous. I have no job and live upon points for anything here on DArt.
Limited Point Commissions (Closed)So I thought I would give it a slot. I will be out of town for a few days after this. But will be back as soon as possible. You see I am helping someone move but other then that I am free till classes start up again. So I am trying out commissions. If this goes well I will likely do more. I made sure to make all the prices reasonable and will do my best at them! Each slot is for one project which can be by the same person. What do you think?
